BAVARIANS REFUSE TO GO TO THE FRONT
(Received August 19, 8.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, 18th August. Biots are reported amongst the Brussels garrison, especially among the Bavarians, who refused to proceed to the front. Their officers supported the refusal, and Prussian troops were called in, and order was restored after seven Bavarians were shot and fifteen wounded.
