The DaiJrf News Russian . correspondent, telegraphing from Stockholm, states that Heir Helfferioh's brief stay at Moscow was characterised: by the utmost secrecy. Many precautions were taken, inchidinff the employment of German guards. Undoubtedly the- Social Revolutionaries intended to murder him, and his flight was quite expected. The Germans asked permission to bring a German regiment to protect Helfferich. The Bolsheviks refused, mentioning that Germany's military occupation of the Ukraine failed to protect yon Eiehhorn.
