DEATH.—In sad and loving memory of my dear brother Harry, killed In action on the 19th August, 1917, at Messlnes, aged 22 years. Dearest Harry, how I miss you, No one but myself can tell; One thought with me will always linger, That you did your duty well. He sleeps bcMde his comrades In a shallow grave unknown; But his name is written in letters of love ■ In the hearts that he left at home. Deeply mourned by his sorrowing sister, Hilda McW. Farewell, dearest Harry, Though deserted at thy post; God was watching o'er our loved one Till he joined the heavenly host. At South Messines a noble soldier lay. It was our gallant Harry, who had fought and died that day; He dicii for his country's freedom, as only true Britons will do; God bless the cause of our country, and ever keep it in view.
