BOY SHOT DEAD
AUCKLAND, 18th August. A boy twelve years of age, named Leonard Hamilton Cavanag'h, was fatally, shot at Otahuhu yesterday afternoon. It is stated that the deceased, with a younger brother, mat three other boys, two of whom were carrying guns. • Ono of these, a lad, aged iilteen, put his gun to his shoulder and' pointed at the deceased. The gun went off, a full charge of shot lodging ki Cavanagh's body near the heart. Death was instantaneous.
