CHRISTCHURCH, 16th August. A thoroughbred stock sale was held today, but competition was far from brisk. C.yresia.n was sold to Mr. H. W. Brown, of Wellington, for 425 guineas, and Koesian for 340 guineas, to Mr. Hugh En-' sor> of Rangiora.
