AUCTION SALES

Several auction sales of subdivided farm lands are advertised by Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd. On 27th August, at Levin, they will submit Mr. J. M. Milne's estate of 280 acres, about three miles from Levin, and subdivided into four farms of from 51 to 101 acres each. On the 70-acre farm is a sixroomed residence and outbuildings. On 29th August the firm will offer lots of from 10 to 54 acres, adjoining ManakauOn 31st August, at Palmerston, they will submit the Rototane estate of 350 acres, cut lip into five farms of from 50 to 100 acres each. This estate is one mile from Tiakitahuna railway station, and seven miles from Palmerston.

Messrs. A.' L. Wilson and Co. -will sell furniture and pianos, at their rooms on Monday, at 1.30. On Wednesday, at 2 p.m., they will sell. 100 pairs of boots. On 4th September they -will sell a property by order of the Registrar of the Supreme Court.

Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co will submit at auction, at their rooms, Fea-therston-street, at 2.30 p.m. on 4th September, about one acre, having frontages to Willis, Aro, and Palmer streets, with the 16-roomed house No. 306, Willis-street.

Messrs. Longmore and Co. advertise a number of city properties for sale by auction, on behalf of the public Trustee. Tho sale will take place at the Oddfellows' Hall, 203, Lambton-quay, on 28th August, not the 21st advertised in last Saturday's issue.

Messrs. S. George Nathan and Co. will sell by auction, on Tuesday next, in the Chamber of Commerce, a residence in Tinakori-road. On tho following day the firm is holding a sale of furniture- at the Upper Hutt, and on the 27th August will submit a dwelling in Roxburgh-street.

Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. advertise a sale on Tuesday, at No. 14, Taftstreet, Brooklyn, of household furniture, etc.; on Wednesday, at 1 o'clock, in their rooms, they will sell household furniture, etc., also unclaimed cargo,- on Thursday, at 1 o'clock, at the Civil Service- dub, BalLance-street, they will sell lino., etc. ; on Fridayp-at 10.30 a.m., on the ground, Buckle-street, they will offer building material, and on Monday, at 66, Hawker-street, they will sell household furniture.

Mr. A. T. Trendle will sell furniture, piano, etc., by auction on Tuesday next, at 1.30 p.m., at the Central auction rooms, 53, Cuba-street, contents of eight rooms.
