SNEAK THIEVING
Another sneak thief made his appearance and his rapid disappearance in Manners-street a few evenings ago. The occupier of a shop near the Grand Opera House had occasion to leave his premises unattended shortly before closing hour, and on returning noticed a man walk quickly away from his shop entrance. Not suspecting that anything amiss had occurred, ho closed his premises for the night. In the morning lie made the unpleasant discovery that his cash-box was missing, but his loss was tempered by the fact that just beforo leaving his shop unattended he had taken all the notes from the box and had left otdy about 15s in silver. Later-in the day the empty cash-box was found in a ..section facing on. the Opera House lane.
