If compensation is paid to secure immediate National Prohibition, isn't it going to increase taxation? So ask some of those considering the National Efficiency Board's proposals. Here it was proved that a I'emarkable increase -in national prosperity resulted from Prohibition. The money now spent in liquor will be circulated or saved, and together with the great reduction which will follow in the cost of the administration of prisons, police, justice, hospital and charitable aid boards, asylums, inebriate homes, and other public institutions, will provide the necessary revenue.—Advt.
