While undergoing an operation in Nelson Hospital for the removal of adenoids, a boy of thirteen named Henry Hector Thomas, of Owen Junction, collapsed. Artificial respiration was resorted to, but without success. At the inquest a verdict was recorded that death was due to heart failure whilst under an anaesthetic properly administeredl uy a duly qualified medical practitioner in the course of an operation for adenoids, and that all usual care and precaution was taken. ■ PUBLIC SPEAKERS NEED NAZOL.
