IN HONOUR'S CAUSE
CASUALTIES TO EX-NEW
ZEA LANDERS.

LONDON, 25th June.
Among casualties reported this week are the following :—Wounded : Lieutenant A. N. H. Whitcombe, R.F.A. (Christchurch), and 30274 J. Sandercock, Oxford and Buckingham Light Infantry (Rongotea) Pioneer V. Dobson : of the Royal Engineers (Waitaki). Missing : Corporal F. M'Calman, Cavalry Special Reserve (Christchurch).
Captain J. Hannay, M.0., King'? Royal Rifle Corps (Lyttelton) is reported a prisoner of war. Captain Hannay.. who is a son of the stationmaster at Lyttelton, commenced the war as a trooper in King Edward's Horse, and early in 1917 came to England' to qualify for his commission.
