CAMP NOTES
The following officers are transferred from Trentham Details to D Company, 45th Reinforcements: —2nd Lts. P. L. Orr, G. B. Oliphant, H. D. Bailey, A. Bracks, C. V. Grant, T. Milliken.
The Rev. T. V. G. Gilfillan, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th class, has reported for duty at Trentham, and has been posted to the 43rd Reinforcements (right wing), The Camp Commandant at Trentham acknowledges with thanks receipt of the following gifts, which have been dis tributed in the caihp hospital^ :—From the soldiers' Comforts, Guild, Wellington, fruit; from the Women's Patriotic , Committee, New . Plymouth, old linen and face cloths; from the Salvation Army, Wellington, fruit, sweets, cake, handkerchiefs.
Tlie following n.c.o.'s of the Physical Training Staff have qualified as assistant instructors of physical and bayonet training:—Cpls. L. J. Hunt, S. M. Tully.
The following temp, appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trentham (Col. H. R, Potter): — 49th Specialist Company : To be C.S.M., Sgt. 0. M. Jones.
