EMPRESS THEATRE.
"The Strong Way," a powerful drama, will be shown at the Empress Theatre for the last time to-night. The star is June Elvidge. Commencing to-morrow, "A Woman Between Friends," featuring Ajice Joyce, will be shown. Robert W. Chambers is the author of the story, which tells of a sculptor and an artist who swore eternal friendship on the' eve of the former's marriage. 'But before long the artist ran away with his friend 1 s wife, who is eventually killed in an accident. Another girl then enters, and the sculptor seeks his revenge.
