SPANISH INFLUENZA
DISEASE REACHES AMERICA,

NEW YORK, 14th August. Spanish. influenza has caused four deaths on a Norwegian vessel which is in dock here. According to the officers, ten persons are also seriously ill with the same disease. The Health authorities have taken precautions to prevent the spread of the disease to the population of 1 the city.
