AUCKLAND BUTTER POSITION
Difficulty ia obtaining butter in Auckland from the freezing stores at Is 5d per pound—the Government fixed price— is now being experienced. It is alleged when, a tequest is mad© for supplies —although, there aro 100,000 boxes in the freezers—the reply is made that there, is no butter for sale. But if Is Gd is offered the butter is somehow produced, and even Is s§d has been ibiown to be followed by supplies, which were said noM© exist when 1» 6d wa'a tendered. •.
