PROHIBITION CAMPAIGN
BUSY CANADIANS.
The New Zealand Alliance's " Prohibition Campaign for National Efficiency" is in full swing. To-morrow evening the public will be able to hear three well-known Canadians at the Town Hall: Mr. W. D. Bayley (Teacher of Economics And History, Winnipeg), Mr. Geo. Bell (M.P. for Victoria in the Legislature of British Columbia), and Mr. J. Simpson (a- Labour leader). Mr. Bayley will speak on " The Traitorous Trade," with evidence to back a charge that the liquor interests of British Columbia resorted to wholesale corruption of the Overseas Canadian soldier vote, in order to defeat Prohibition: Mr. Bell will supply facts and figures from the business life of Canada to support his claim that Prohibition is so successful and beneficial that the people will never allow the license bar in Canada again. Mr. Simpson will deal with the question of Prohibition fronii the workers' point of view, showing why the working men of America are voting out the liquor traffic.
