Birmingham committee has asked for a fortnight's suspension of tfee embargo, failiijg which .they, will cease" work on •Wednesday. The Ministry has replied refusing the suspension. Notices have been given in 6ome of the works in Manchester that the men will cease work on. 30th July unless the embargo is withdrawn. The Lincoln men threaten to strike on 24th July.
