MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
Members of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association met in the V.M.C.A. Buildings last evening, when Mr. A. E. Wells presided. A protest entered by Marist F team, sixth class, against Marist (Thorndon) C team, na the grounds that the latter'team had pl!-.%d a lad over age, was upheld. It was decided to replay the two games contested by these teams.
A representative local school team is to meet boys from Martinborough School later in the season.
It was reported to the committee that in a recent school match between Wadestown and Karori, Wadestown had played a lad who is attending the Technical School. The matter was left with the secretary to investigate. In a communication received from Mr. Press, the writer stated that for several of the games he had refereed no football had been forthcoming at the start of the games. The clubs concerned are to be communicated with.
The following donations towards the association's funds have been received: J. J. Firth, £2 2s; E.W., £5; and Marist Old Boys, £1. In order to choose representative players for the Brown Shield Match to be played with Canterbury, it was decided to play a practice game between senior and third grade players.
