CAPPELLI.
Signor Cappelli, the eminent Italian operatic tenor, will be heard at the Grand Opera House on Saturday evening. Cappelli will be favourably remembered as principal tenor with the Gonsalez Grand Opera Companion its recent tour of the Dominion. During that tour he was the recipient of many laudatory notices, and all the critics agreed that he is an artist of rare talent, the possessor of a pure rich tenor voice of remarkable range. Australian critics say that no finer tenor has been heard in the Southern Hemisphere, and recently in the Sydney Town Hall an audience of over three thousand refused to leave the building till he had: .given many extra numbers. In support of Cappejli, Mr. John Amadio, the eminent flautist, will appear: also Signor Cesaroni, basso; Miss Veronica Bedford, • soprano; and Mr. Harold Whittle,' accompanist, The box plan of reserved seats is now open for the three concerts at the Bristol.
