TO AID THE CZECHOSLOVAKS
THE AMERICAN AND JAPANESE
EXPEDITION.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) OTTAwA, 22nd July.
The New York Times Washington correspondent states that President Wilson will announce an American-Japanese military expedition to Russia to aid the Czecho-Slovalcs. A joint military expedition will be sent to Vladivostock to hold the city as a base for the operations of the Czecho-Slovaks against former Austrian and German prisoners of war. It is understood! that no other Allies will participate.
