SABBATH OBSERVANCE.
An English visitor to Scotland was walking briskly along one Sunday morning, when a policeman, after watching him suspiciously, addressed him. "Ye had better tak' care, sir, what ye're doing !" _ j "What am I doing?" enquired the visi- | tor. "Why, I'm not even whistling." 1 "No," replied the policeman in solemn : and reproving tones, "but ye're looking almost as happy as if it were a week day!"
