All New Zealanders who seriously feel the responsibilities of Imperial citizenship should subscribe to The Round Table, a quarterly review of Imperial politics, entirely free from the bias of local party issues. In a recent letter to a Now Zealander, a Canadian statesman says:—"lt is not easy to understand our separate National problems. We do not know the local viewpoint from which issues are looked at in New Zealand, and you cannot easily know the local colour prevailing here." For instance, take a few of the questions recently dealt with in The Round Table. .able writers, thoroughly versed in their respective subjects, have written fully on the French-Canadian problem in Canada, the Indian and Native difficulties hi South Africa, the Irish question (treated historically)-, the industrial situation in Australia. In the light of The Round Table articles, the daily newspaper cables acquire a new significance and appear in their true perspective. Illuminating articles on such -questions as economic, financial and industrial reconstruction; the AngloJapanese alliance; naval policy and the Pacific ; India and- its future; Turkey, its past and future; Islam and Empire; not only enable the subscriber to keep abreast of the great questions of the day, but will be frequently referred to by him hereafter, when discussion arises upon such matters. The great issues of the war and the racial problems involved are dealt with comprehensively, and on a high ethical plane, and busi-" ness and commercial men will find much matter that will give them food for reflection in such articles as Lombardstreet in war, war and- financial exhaustion, the Empire's financial task, production in peace and war. The review carries no advertisements—it is not run for profit, and is a purely co-operative patriotic enterprise. You are invited to give it your support, not only on patriotic grounds, but as a sound business proposition. Once you take it, you willwonder how you ever managed to do without it.
