PEMBERTON BILLING'S WIFE
SAID TO BE A GERMAN,
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.)
LONDON, 18th July. The Daily Chronicle states that remarkable, disclosures have been made regarding Mr. Pemberton Billing's wife. She is said to be a German, the daughter of an unnaturalized Prussian, Her mother was also born in Germany. Though these facts are based on the parents' marriage certificate, Mrs. Billing asserts that her father is a Swiss and her mother is Irish.
[Mrs. Billing is the daughter of Theodore Henry Schweitzer, of Bristol. 3
