It is generally anticipated that the petrol supply regulations just issued will prove satisfactory in their operation, since they will check the hoarder of motor-fuel^ and impose rib restriction iipon the motorist who buys only sufficient for his requirements. Should there be an actual shortage of petrol, there is, of course* machinery provided for preference being given to users in essential occupations, but the need for this preference may never arise, especially if all motorists exercise the economy that is called for at the prfesent time!
