A correspondent, "Guardian," in a letter published in The Post yesterday, made an appeal to the Wellington Education Board to have the primary school holidays a little later this term, and suggested that it would be much more convenient to parents to Have the holidays nearer to the college holidays. Enquiries niMie io-day show that the question raised by The Post's correspondent j is probably raised too late for any -change to be made this year. The dates of tha coming term holiday were intimated at tho beginning of the year, and many parents have made their arrangements in accordance with tho dates already fixed. It is suggested that it would bo a good thing if a conference of representatives of Victoria College, secondary schools, and primary schools were held to consider the question of trying to arrange ■uniformity in regard to holidays.
