BOLSHEVIKS DEFEATED
/ PEKIN, 16th July. The Bolsheviks have been defeated by the Czecho-Slovaks north-west of Vladivostock, and arc retreating towards Khabarovsk. Chinese, Japanese, and Cossacks are aiding; the Czechs-Slovaks. Reports from Hai'bin state that Czechoslovaks defeated the Bolsheviks near Chita, on the Trans-Siberian' railway.
