LONDON, 16th July. Obituary—Paul Cinquevalli, tho famous juggler.

[Paul Cinquevalli appeared in Wellington in June, 1902, when he created great enthusiasm. Born in Poland in 1859, his father was exiled for political reasons, and the family then settled in Berlin. There, as a student, Cinquevalli soon showed prowess as a gymnast. At the ago of thirteen he ran away from home and joined a noted performer at Odessa, attaining under his guidance fame as an aerial performer. He was noised abroad as "The Little Plying Devil." An accU dent cut short his aerial career, but with undaunted pluck he persevered, and became a juggler and acrobat, his turns showing amazing deftness. He was ad : mitted to be the best artist in his line in the world, and appeared by command before the then Prince of Wales, now King George.]
