CROWN THEATRE.

"The Greatest Power," an exciting story, full of incident, was the leading picture shown at the Crown Theatre last night. Practically the first patriotic film produced sir«co America entered the war,' it strikes a great note of loyalty, and faith in the nation and its Allies. The breaking down of neutrality, not only in Congress, but in the hearts and habits of the people, is cleverly shown ; and also the menace that America in particular has to face, the German element in her midst, tho hyphenated German-Ameri-can, or the straight-out German who has gained such a. strong hold on that country, is clearly shown, and the methods of both spies and those who are out to defeat the spies, are well brought out in thie picture. A village specially constructed for this production was destroy ed by gunfire. Wonderful scenes of the United States fleet in action, are shown in. this notable war-time drama. The picture is artistically acted, and staged on a lavish scale. The supporte are judiciously selected, and complete a firstclass programme.
