COLD WEATHER IN QUEENSLAND

DAIRY PRODUCE AFFECTED.

(Received July 17, 10 a.m.)

BRISBANE, This Day.

Reports from various centres state that many sheep have been killed by the cold. Although there is plenty of dry feed for the cattle it contains little nourishment, and owing to the lack of rain the dairy produce is little more than is necessary for the State's requirements. It is feared that the sugar crop will also suffer.
