The Town Hall Concert Chamber will be the scene of a new amusement set next Friday, when the Purple Courtiers will present an entirely original pastoral entertainment, which has become so popular in England and 'France since the war. It is made up from the greatest successes of the items of the best operas, musical comedies, dramatic hits, and high-class vaudeville turns of tho current year, interspersed with the latest ballad and song hits of the- conceit stage, musical sketches, monologues, instrumental numbers, concerted and in solos, will be presented in quick'succession. The idea is not to have a dull moment throughout two hours' and a quarter, and each turn will bo in strong contrast to the preceding number. The proceeds will be devoted to the St. Mary of the Angels re-building fund.
