"MY FOUR YEARS IN GERMANY."

Numerous prophets predicted that if America declare-a war against Germany she would be so hampered by internal strife caused by her large German-Ameri-can population as to be practically useless as an ally. Those prophesies have proved to be as incorrect as thousands, of other forecasts regarding the present conflict. The question which arises is, why have those German-Americans caused so little trouble? The answer is to be found, to a great extent, in Ambassador Gerard's "My Four Years in Germany." As a book it had a great influence, but ac a photo-drama it is said to have wielded an incomparably greater influence, and the clear manner in which, it presents tho facts of the case has gone far to convince possible German sympathisers in America that it is only by loyalty to America that Germany can be aided, since it is only by defeat that Germany can hope to free herself from the irtubus of Prussian military autocracy. Although a very long film, it grips the interest from first to last. It will be shown by the First National Exhibitors of America at the King's Theatre, commencing on Saturday next.
