SIR DOUGLAS HAIG'S MESSAGE TO THE PRESIDENT
LONDON, 15th July.
The Press Bujrean states: Sir Douglas Haig sent the following message to President Poincare : "On this occasion of your national anniversary, I take pleasure in expressing, on behalf of the British armies in France, our devoted admiration for the magnificent French Army. The rallying of the free nations during the past year in the fight for civilisation, and tho closer cohesion of the Allies' military foroes, affords an assurance of victory."
