LATE SHIPPING
THE MOERAKI ARRIVES.
Shortly before 11 o'clock this morning the Moeraki arrived at Wellington from Sydnoy direct, and berthed at No. 1 north, Queen's, Wharf. The vessel, which left the-Hew* South Wales port at 1 p.m. on Thursday, experienced fine, weather.throughout ."the trip. ' She had on "board the following passengers:—Saloon: Mesdames Whitemau, ' Lewthwaite, Mason, Enuis, Rallo, Burge and infant, Kedwell and child, Staines, Dix. Misses Smith, Staines (2), McDonald, Messrs. Findlay, Davies, Whiteman, Xe-gthwalte, Wrigbt, Nixon, Turner; ■■ Terry, Kin'gdon, Squires, Hodgetts,' Swirison, Henrya, Powell, Snoad. Bedivell, Harrowell, Hogarty, levy, Barge, Kedwell, Hume, Eallo, Fitzgerald, Dix, Matthews, Gardner, Orr, Munro, Sergt.Cole. Dowthwaite, Eyre; and 02 steerage. The Moeraki, after discharging her Welling-. toi*C cargo, will leave "to;morrow for Lyttelton. She is due back at Wellington again on Thursday: and at 5 p.m. on that day will leave for Hooart and Sydney - ; THE COLLISION AT NAPIEK. Further particulars are given in Saturday's Telegraph of : the collision in the Napier harhoiii' of the Tangaroa and the Weka. The Weka struck the Tiingaroa amidsiiips, tearing ,i hole abaft, the coal bunker about, a foot wide and seven feet long. To prevent her foundering in deep water the vessel was removed to shallower water and the cargo discharged.'"
