"INTERN THEM ALL!"
DEMONSTRATION IN TRAFALGAR
SQUARE.
(adStralian-new Zealand clbiß aswciatign.V (Received July 15, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 13th July. A mass meeting in Trafalgar-square passed a motion that all aliens of enemy Wood should be immediately interned; that all such aliens in every Government and public office should be removed; and also protesting against the inadequacy of the Government's proposals cabled on the 11th. The meeting refused to hear Mr. E. Pryce Jones (Unionist M.P.), who declared that the Government's proposals I would go a long way to settle/the matter I of national federation..
Discharged and demobilised sailors and soldiers marched in procession ak>ng the Thames Embankment'to Hyde Park carrying banners inscribed "Intern' Them All," "Comb Them Out."
One of the speakers demanded increased allowances for disabled men, and larger pensions, for dependents.
