SUPREME COURT AT NAPIER

NAPIER; 12th June.
In the Supreme Court Frederick Hampson and James Willoughby', who were found guilty yesterday of obtaining money by false pretences, appeared for sentence. Hampson was sentenced to two years' reformative detention, and Willoughby was ordered to repay £19 taken from two ftfaori women and pay £11. costs, in default six months' imprisonment.
David Collins and John Davis, two returned soldiers, were charged with robbing and assaulting Robert Black Adams, another returned soldier, and with attempting to defeat the course of justice. Both were found guilty of assault and of attempting to defeat the course of justice, and the passing of sentence was deferred. The case arose out of a fracas before the Anzac dinner at Hastings, to which .accused were not admitted.
