Comment in Paris shows marked satisfaction with yesterday's fighting, and a continuance of invincible confidence tinged with some suspense. L'Homme Libre says : "When the battle has ended the enemy may have reserves larger than ours, but if we hold the forests of Compeigne, Laigue, and Villers Gotteret we will have won."
