BRITAIN'S NEED OF WOOL
SUBMARINES INTERFERE WITH
IMPORTATIONS

Mr. Albert Illingworth (PostmasterGeneral), speaking at an exhibition of standard cloths at Bradford, said that 70 per cent, of the wool used in Britain was needed for official purposes, and more would be needed to clothe thu American troops. The submarines had interfered with the importation of wool, but the situation was well in hand. Standardising would be extended to hoisery and other textiles.
