CIIRISTCHURCH, 12th June. At the Addington market there were larger yardings of stock in all departments. Store sheep met with rather better demand. Fat lambs were 'even firmer than the week before, though the quality was not nearly so good. Pat sheep were also firm, and fat cattle met with a good sale. There was a. fair enquiry for store cattle. Tat pigs were easier, but stores sold well.

Store Sheep.—Two-tooth ewes to 25s 3d, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 28s, sound-mouth ewes 20s lid, 2 and- 4-tooth wethers 17s 8d to 30s lOd, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 345, sound-mouth merino wethers 17s to 20s, ewe lambs 18s lOd to 27s 9d, mixed sex lambs 14s 3d to 20s, wether lambs 16s to 23s Id. Fat Lambs.—Extra prime to 355, prime 30s to 345, medium 27s to 29s 6d, light and unfinished 29s 6d to 325. Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 475, prime wethers 41s to 45s lid, medium 36s to 40s 6d, lighter 30s 9d to 35s 6d, merino wethers 23s 5d to 37s 3d, extra prime ewes 45s 9d, prime ewes 38s to 425.6 d, medium 33s to 37s Sd, lighter 25s to 32s 6d, merino ewes 15s 2d to 23s 6d. Fat Cattle.—Extra prime steers to £23 2s 6d, prime steers £17 to £20, ordinary steei;s £13 10s ■to £16 10s\ prime heifers '£17 10a, ordinary heifers £10 to £14. 10s, prime cows £18 15s, ordinary cows £8 to £13. Store Cattle.—Two and a-half/to 3' year steers £8 12s to £14, 3-year heifers £10, dry cows £5 to £10. dairy cows £9 to £21. Pigs.—Choppers £2 to £8, extra heavy ba'coners £6 10s. heavy baconers £4 5s to £5 (equal to 8d to B{d per lb), heavy porkers 65s 6d to 755, lighter porkers 45s to 55s (equal to 9-Jd to -9Jd per lb), medium stores 42s to 565, smaller 2"Bs to 345, weaners 19s. 6d to 225.
