CHANGEABLE WEATHER
A disturbance is developing in the north-west of tho Dominion, and one is also in evidence to the westward. These have accounted for strong and variablo ■winds and increased cloudiness generally since yesterday. Rain has fallen in tho Northern districts, and fome scattered rainfall has been reported in the South. Tho indications are for easterly gales, changing to southerly northward of Kawhia and East Cape, and increasing south-easterlies thence to Farewell Spit and Kaikouru., and variable directions southwards. The wenther is likely to bo unsettled and cloudy, v/ith rain northwards of Farewell Spir ond Kaikoura, and general rainfall foilowing.
