m PARIS, 9th July. The long-range bombardment of the city has been. ie6Umed. (AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received June 11, 9.30 a.m.) . PARIS, 10th June, it transpires that the German longe-range gun is not a new invention. Frau Kl-upp Bohlen showed a model of the gun to an American general who was Visiting Essen prior to the war, stating that the range was 90 miles, and that the cost was £210,000. She added that the only marvel Was that the guns could not flre more than 25 shells without repairs.
