BROOKLYN HARRIERS
Twenty-five members of the Brooklyn harriers started in the sealed handicap race at Seatoun on Saturday. The trail led from the Seatoun tram terminus towards the tunnel, then turning to the right along the waterfront, went up over the hill along the first road turning to the left. After passing along the hill for.about a mile, the trail turned in the direction of the Miramar gasworks. It then joined the tramline, and finished at the Seatoun terminus. The race ended, with R. Watson in the lead, and Clark and Russell second and third respectively. On the handicaps being unsealed it was found that the result was :—F. Harlen. 1, W. Russell 2, and A. Watson 3. On 30th June the Cook Cup will Ue competed for, and it is anticipated that a good race will be the result.
