MASSEUR OR SOLDIER
TO THE EDITOR Sir, —With further reference to the work done by Mr. T. S. Cornish, of Seatoun, at the Victoria Hospital, I should like to endorse the sentiment expressed by "Returned Soldier" in Saturday's Po6t. As one who has received personal attention from Mr. Cornish, and has benefited extremely thereby, I consider that the action of the Defence Department in making Jhe masseur a soldier (and with only the rank of private) is depreciatory of his past untiring and over courteous services.
That something should be done to adjuet this matter is, I am sure, the desire and hope of the many returned soldiers who have been the recipients of Mr. Cornish's persevering attention.—l am, ANOTHER RETURNED SOLDIER, 10th June.
