ADVANCE CONTINUES IN DIFFICULT COUNTRY TURKS' OBSTINATE RESISTANCE; - LONDON, 11th March. A Palestine official report states :— The advance northward is. Continued. Yesterday morning we crossed the Wadiel Aujah and captured a : strong Turkish position five miles .westward of the Jordan. We advanced on either side of the Jerusalem-Nablus-road -"dh ft front of thii'teen miles 'to ail average depth of,two to three miles. We occupied . Kefrm.alik, Selwad, arid Telasur, eastward oE the road. We encountered little opposition westward of the road. LONDON, 12th March. A Palestine official report states :— The northward advance astride the Jeriasalem-Nablns-road has been continued through the most difficult country and in face of obstinate resistance, the enemy "employing rium'erous- concealed machine-guns.
