CHAMPION OP CHAMPIONS TOURNEY The "champion of champions"- singles tourney, which-was commenced on the Hataitai Green yesterday afternoon, was continued to-day. The initial stages were accompanied by most unsuitable weather. conditions, a strong northerly preventing anything like accurate bowling. Gray, of Kelburn, won by default, owing to the nonappearance of the Te Hiwi representative. Young (Hataitai) and Paul (Seatoun) had a rather interesting game, which resulted in, favour* of the former by 24 to 19. • This-morning ideal weather prevailed, and, the green in good condition, keen and enjoyable games resulted as follow :— ......
