(Received February 21, 10 A.m.) SYDNEY, This' Day. A deputation of Queensland sugargrowers" told Mr. W. M. Hughes that the loss of sugar at Mackay, owing to the floods, is estimated at 250,000.t0n5. Mr. Hughes promised that the Commonwealth would pay .for ' the. quantity destroyed.
