SHORTT'S THEATRE.
A wholesome story of Western life in the United States is told in "Tha Adopted Son," now showing at Shortt's Theatre, the hero being the popular actor Francis X. Bushman, who is ably supported by Beverly Bayne. The forest scenes are particularly beautiful. Aa "Two-gun Carter," Francis Bushman scores a decided hit. The Co-operative Gazette shows some instructive pictures of America's preparations for the war.
