While taking part in a race at the Butchers' annual picnic at Day's Bay yesterday, a young woman named Ethel Smith, residing at No. 10, Drummondstreet, fell heavily. She was unable to proceed to her home, and was taken to the Hospital for treatment. She was reported this morning to be making favourable progress.
