WANGANUI, This Day. The weather was favourable for the final gallops. Almo and Sasanof did seven furlongs together, in lmin 32sec. Wishful and Bon dOr ran six furlongs in lmin 21sec, Gang Awa' ;and Arrowfield in lmin 18sec, and Form Up and Nystad in lmin 15 4-ssec. Fionnuala beat, Glendalough over six furlongs in lmin 20sec. Square Deal was in front of Robur at the end of five furlongs run in lmin 3isec. Coolpan and Moutoa Queen were together at the end of five furlongs, the time being lmin 3sec. Lingerie did . five furlongs m train 4«ec. George teal Fabiseo easily over seven furlongs,in lmin 31sec. Silenus was in front of Sir Solo at the end of a mile run in lmin.47sec. Portland Lady easily beat Colorado in lmin 48sec. Silver and Black and Turpenite ran five. furlongs in lmin Atec. Firimark and Estland did the game comfortably in lmin ssec. Gaycium and Oratress went half * mile iii Sttysee. Piano did the same distance in 49 4-seec. Dingle went a. mile in lmin 50sec, and Client a mile in lmin 46sec. Menelaus was too good lor Snub over a mile in lmin 43 3-ssec. Croesus, Nanna, and Hymestra finished in the order named at the end of a five furlongs run in lmin 3 3-ssec. Hymestra began very elowly, Croesus going comfortably at the end. Waimatao did five -furlongs, in lmin 26ec nicely. Biplane trotted. Tressida, Acre,' Seadown, Lady Beaufort, and Master Moutoa did useful work.
R. M'Seveny, the-well-known hurdle horseman, leaves for Riccarton to-night, having just, been .discharged from Cl Camp T. Metcalfe, the English lightweight, who was attached to the Highden stable when he was sent into Cl Camp, also failed to stand up to the test, and has received his discharge. ■■
