, , . LONDON,. 19th February. Sir Douglas Haig reports : We dispersed a. raid east of Epehy. The hostile" artillery is active. Our aeroplanes on Sunday dropped six tons of bombs on various targets, including the aerodromes at Tournai and Lille, and a dump near Courtrai. There was. severe air fighting. We brought down sixteen machines,, while three of ours are missing. We made further raids last night, and attacked the aerodromes at Ghent and Tournai, and the railway station and sidings at Conflans. Bursts were observed, and a large fire started. Our' squadrons to-day raided in daylight, with excellent results, the barracks andj railway station at Treves and the Eteel works and railway station at Thionville, causing two large fires at Treves. These raids were carried out in spite of the heaviest anti-aircraft gunfire.
