LODGE MEETING
The Poneke Lodge, U.A.0.D., Petohe, held its quarterly meeting this week, Bro. Kearney, A.D., presiding. A friendly card'tourney will be played between "Hibernians and Druids on the evening. of the Ist March. A brother, who had responded to an appeal sent to the-lodge on behalf of (he widow of a deceased brother, was commended for his kind action. One member applied for clearance, which -was granted. Bro. Gough was elected trustee, vice Bro. Mnvsden, deceased. The bards reported three members on the sick fund. Bro. Cairns resigned his position oi delegate to tlie Royal Arch Chapter, and Bro. Edwards was appointed to fill the vacancy The retiring D.P., Bro. Price, was thanked for the way ho had filled hU office. Various accounts were passed f'jr , payment, including two death allowances, totalling £24j. The receipts for the evening totalled £186.
