CIVIL CASES
Mr. Vf. G. Kiddell, S.M., yesterday gave judgment for plaintiff by default in the following undefended civil cases :—City Carriage and Motor Works v. R. E. Muirhead, £4 16s 6d, costs 12s; William Nees v. E. Jones and Son, £2 0s Bd, costs lls; Public Trustee (re W. h. Luxford's trust) v. H. G. Marchant, £3 ss, costs 10s; Governors of Wellington College and Girls' High School v. Mrs. J. W. Bull, £1 15s 4d, costs 7s; James M. Porter v. Angus Campbell Archer, £8 17s 2d, costs 25s 6d.
A case was brought before Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, S.M., in which the Mammoth Molybdenite Mines Company sued Fred' crick John Lysnar for £112 10s, share moneys. Decision was reserved.
Judgment was given for plaintiff in the sum of 16s 9d, costs 16s 6d, and possession of a tenement, in the case Cyril W. J. Day v. Mrs. D. Mount-fort.
